Meet us at M2M World Congress 2013 in London

Visit Cumulocity stand and Cumulocity presentations at this years M2M World Congress.

The event will take place in London, Royal Garden Hotel, on April 25-26, 2013.

Cumulocity will present new products on its booth. Additionally Cumulocity's CEO, Bernd Gross, will open the 2nd day of the conference with his keynote presentation on "Exploiting M2M Applications in The M2M Ecosystem". Additionally he will lead the panel discussion later on the day.

Arduino is now cloud enabled with the Cumulocity M2M Application Cloud

In conjunction with Deutsche Telekom, Cumulocity GmbH presents the integration of Arduino with its M2M Application Cloud.

"We are very pleased to offer a free version of the Cumulocity Client Library for Arduino including free access to our Cumulocity Application Cloud. This makes Internet of Things (IoT) technology easily accessible for hundred of thousands of innovators and developers. Cloud based mobile IoT applications will drive the next generation of the Internet. We are very proud being at the forefront of this development," said Bernd Groß, CEO of Cumulocity GmbH.

Developers wanting to not only cloud enable, but also making their Arduino devices mobile, will greatly benefit from this release:

  • Using the "Getting Started with Arduino" guide from cumulocity.com/guides, developers can bring their Arduino into the cloud in minutes to collect sensor information and remote control their device. With the documented REST API's, the Arduino can be integrated into Internet services like IFTTT, Twitter, Facebook and others.
  • Free Cumulocity Client Library for Arduino. The software can be found from above link. It is made available for free by Cumulocity under MIT open source license. The library is tested with onboard GSM chips as well as with GSM shields.
  • Cumulocity offers a free-to-use Public Edition of its M2M Cloud services for Arduino.

Deutsche Telekom will, in cooperation with Cumulocity, offer an attractive DevStarter Arduino Package. The kit includes an Arduino board with onboard GSM chip, SIM card, DevStarter cloud subscription, an example sensor, necessary cables and power adapter. Alternatively developers can signup to the Free Edition of the Cumulocity cloud and will receive ordering details at a later stage.

On Embedded World, the DevStarter Arduino Package will be demonstrated by Cumulocity and Deutsche Telekom staff. Gemalto Cinterion EGS5/5x now cloud-enabled with the Cumulocity M2M Application Cloud

Düsseldorf, Germany – 21st of February 2013 – Cumulocity and MC Technologies today announced the availability of the Cumulocity Smart Agent for Cinterion EGS5/5x module. The agent enables any device using the module to connect seamlessly with the Cumulocity M2M cloud, simplifying the development of cloud-based applications.

Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) signs global partnership agreement with Cumulocity

Nokia Siemens Networks will continue to resell the Cumulocity platform and to support its operator customers' mobile broadband related M2M business. Cumulocity's leading cloud-based software-as-a-service offerings complement Nokia Siemens Networks' M2M features and services.

Previous Nokia Siemens Networks senior management, with former M2M business line head Bernd Gross, has founded Cumulocity GmbH.
